In the opening year we will send out a call for artists as a biannual occurrence and annually in the following years.Īrtists selected to the freelance team will be given a brief and the curated programme for the season and will be asked to send in proposals for a series of innovative family based weekend workshops which will create links and connections to the MAC’s artistic programmes.

We now seek specialist artists and facilitators from across a range of art forms from dance, digital media, sculpture, physical theatre, as well as the visual arts, to apply to be part of the MAC Freelance Artist Team.
These workshops will be targeted at a specific group including families, schools, young people and communities and will be delivered in the MAC spaces and beyond. In addition to helping us create a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for visitors to The MAC, selected artists will work with the MAC team to deliver a dynamic, unique and innovative series of creative workshops throughout the season.
The MAC are developing an artist-led creative approach to learning and participation workshops, which will offer unique, innovative and high quality facilitation to increase participation in the MAC. The MAC seeks freelance artists to become part of the MAC Freelance Artist Team.
